Aligning Outcomes, Assessment and Activities

ALIGNING OUTCOMES.jpg

When creating meaningful learning environments, it is important to align outcomes, activities, and assessments. The BHAG or Big Hairy Audacious Goal is the first step in formulating this plan and aligning it with my INNOVATION PLAN. After reviewing and studying Fink's (2003) planning worksheets, I was able to build a comprehensive learning plan. A reverse comprehensive design plan that has all the components of the Innovation Plan that the facilitator must use and carry out with the student and is an aid to guide the student with blended learning. All learning elements are linked to Fink's meaningful learning model.

BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) Overarching Course Goal:

When planning the learning strategy around the outcome or instruction in competencies for students, teachers should start with the objective of what they want to achieve at the end of the project in an authentic context, and that the objectives, evaluations and different learning activities are developed in a general way in each participant.
