Online learning is not the next big thing, it is the now big thing.”

Contribution to your Learning and the Learning Community
Community-based learning strengthens the link between generations, which promotes autonomy and self-sufficiency and fosters social cohesion, thus promoting active citizenship and a sense of ownership of the future of a community. Innovative and creative practices have promoted dialogue and generated participation and support in bottom-up initiatives to promote well-being among my entire environment, community, and fellowship.
10 years ago, I left the classroom as a student and I thought I would return but from another angle and although it remained that way in the 4 years that I have been a teacher in the elementary area, this new adaptation has made me restructure my objectives. Getting to know the tool called E-portfolio as a teaching, learning and evaluation method, while carrying out the compilation and publication of various academic evidence to develop the objectives to be evaluated within the framework of the assigned competences. The evidence informs the learning process that I must comply with as a student and that has allowed me to show my efforts and achievements, according to the levels and learning objectives and the evaluation criteria previously established.
In distance education, the E-portfolio is of the utmost importance since I have seen the evidence of the work that has been done and therefore constitutes support for both my instructor and me as a student. In turn, with this, I am sure that at the end of a period, we will be able to study easily since all the knowledge is collected in one place.
Creating a new motivation for this new approach in education, coming from the belief of all the multicultural communities that live in this country, which have innate values that can enrich the learning experiences. Within the immediate environment, I have learnt of other resources and assets and even modernization of others that can be used to provide all students with a hands-on, real-life experience that cements learning objectives as real and important skills.
This modality of learning is based on different plans and mixed modality in the community which I could find at this level of education. It was important to get involved with other students early to develop relationships that enhanced my overall learning experience, and as I have become more integrated my motivation grows by playing an excellent role for themselves in the larger social context. Because community-based learning can be done at any level, teachers can easily incorporate strategies into any curriculum. For this reason, I give myself a 95 out of 100 for EDLD 5303.
For my return to this new educational season, I assumed my responsibilities in each and every one of the assigned activities, complied with the planned and assigned discussions in each course on time and on the appointed date, without delay, I shared feedback, participated in the different dialogues issued by the course facilitator, received tutoring from colleagues as well as offered tutoring to classmates such as Argelia Perez Ramirez and Paola Rodriguez and Rossmary Vera, generating a team for management at different points of 5303 being my 1st time in this area, I was also filled with doubts and I came to feel deficient which I managed to correct. I opted for the linear position of receiving and accepting suggestions, everything that leads me to satisfactorily comply with all that is required . Now at this point I already feel stronger, with a strategy to see the same path safe as at the beginning it was not clear where to start. Another relevant point was that when responding to my colleagues, I didn’t hesitate to suggest or celebrate appropriate resources hoping to expand and generate a discussion at a deeper level, I have made sure in each contribution on my part to provide explanations as to why said resources are relevant and interesting to the rest of the class and this in turn provides an accurate reference. All my assignments are attached in my e-Portfolio to be reviewed and evaluated.
Finally, I feel pleased, fulfilled and proud of everything I have learned, my Innovation Proposal, my planted strategies, my foray into this area of technology and its divergences, of learning a method of mixed learning, supported by blended learning, but the most significant thing is to measure my ability to integrate with technology and systematic development in its different learning resources, which would be my contribution to the parent-student community.
Sincerely, thank you very much.
